Thanks to the efforts of Father Michael J. McGivney, assistant pastor of St. Mary’s Church in New Haven and some of his parishioners, the Connecticut state
legislature on March 29, 1882, officially chartered the Knights of Columbus as a
fraternal benefit society. The Order is still true to its founding principles of charity, unity and fraternity.
If you are a Catholic man & are not a member of the Knights of Columbus, you are missing a wonderful opportunity to deepen your faith. Please consider joining these fine men in their service to the Church. The Knights meet semimonthly on the 1st & 2nd Wednesday at 7pm in the Community Life Center (CLC).
Get involved supporting SEAS, enhancing
your faith and protecting & fulfilling your family life.
