Music has been an integral part of the liturgy of the Church from her very beginning. We sing throughout the Sunday liturgy as a choir but also as a congregation "filled with the Spirit, speaking to one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs.” - Ephesians 5: 19
It is through the inspiration of the Holy Spirit that the sacred arts, including music, lead us to the worship of God and point us to the ever unfolding mystery of His presence.
The choirs at St. Elizabeth aim at exactly this purpose, pulling from the treasury of sacred music, to endue solemnity and splendor throughout the liturgical action.
